Malawians were taken by surprise after a s*xtape of dancehall artist Desert Eagle leaked over the weekend.

You may recall that it hasn’t been long since Mighty Viruses’ s*xtape also leaked months ago – another person in Malawi’s entertainment industry.

Following the recent events, the Dancehall artist who also calls himself Igwe has spoken up about the the events that led to the leakage of his s*xtape.

As per his say, some bad minded people had stolen his mobile phone and tried to blackmail him after they discovered the p***rnogr¥¥phy content in his phone. He posted on his Instagram page saying, “Cheers to the people that stole my phone, tried blackmail a g like me and eventually leak my private videos,” part of the post goes.

In the same post, he also acknowledged that such incident of this kind could happen to anyone and not just him (perhaps just like it did with mighty virus). “And to those that judge me for being a victim to this horrible atrocity, remember that this could happen to anybody.”

The Dancehall Igwe did not disclose the culprits who got hold of his mobile and leaked the videos and neither did he disclose how such an action happened. Meanwhile, the artist has announced he’s soon dropping a song that will partly address the situation.

His fellow victim, Mighty Virus has since been nominated for Maso Awards.
