Dawn Theatre Arts (DATA) is a fast emergent art group based in
Luchenza Malawi, established in 2020 with an aim of contributing
to social behaviour change among youths and the general
population through artistic & educational exposition and
experience in form of drama.
MISSION (WHY WE EXIST?)
Develop the most innovative and courageous artists poised to be
creative and impactful youths of today and tomorrow in our
society.
VISION (OUR GOAL)
We seek to foster a society of highly skilled youthful artists who are
engaged with the issues of the national and invested in theatrical
storytelling –in all its guises-as means of elevating individual and
collective voices, promoting understanding and nurturing
compassion towards socio and economic empowerment.
WE BELIVE THAT
1️⃣Theatre has a power to illuminate, transform and heal.
2️⃣ Experiencing Theatre is essential for youths and general population to thrive.
3️⃣We have responsibility to nurture honour and respect the
imagination of our audience.
4️⃣ Theatre can create community by bring together diverse
audiences encompassing all ages and background.
5️⃣We have responsibility to reach out to youths and general
public who may not otherwise have access to unique kind of
artistic and educational experience that we provide.
