DJ Bubblegum is one of the prominent female club DJs in Malawi.
DJ Bublegum, real name Teshayi Ngwira was born in an all girls family. The club DJ who is 25 years old, is originally from the central region district of Salima.
Her first inspiration to become a DJ came from her father, who is still a DJ to today.
She Mentions DJ Trick and VJ Ice as some of her mentors in the industry locally. Internationally, her style is influenced by the likes of the late Avicii, DJ Puffy, DJ Livia and Juicy M.
So far, DJ Bubblegum has performed at Major local music festivals like Set it Off, Lake of Stars, Chikale Beach Festival and Sound and Light Music Festival.
